We are a professional holiday lighting company founded by
the owners of one of the most successful event production
companies in the world. We are working year round on holiday
lighting applications for the holiday season.

are not a company that puts signs in the dirt at the side
of the road during the holiday season to make fast money.
These type of people have no customer service and no follow
up. Those are not professionals,these are people who are uninsured
and really do not know what they are doing. If you hire these
people you are taking a very big chance and your HOA or company
are liable should they hurt someone, themselves or damage
property. At Designer Events HLS we pride ourselves on customer
service and we follow up to make sure your holiday lighting
application is trouble free and in perfect working condition
throughout the season.
Holiday lighting is simple to put
up, I put it up on my house every year. I am on the board
of my HOA. Why can't board members, or homeowner volunteers
put the lights up to save money?
Putting up lights on your house at your leisure is not the
same as putting together a professional lighting application.
It takes time, creativity and the knowledge to make it safe
and last the season. Most of all it is a liability. If someone
gets electrocuted, falls out of a tree or hit by a car, the
person hurt can take legal action against your HOA. Most HOA
insurance policies do not cover this. It is such a small amount
of money added to a homeowners dues per month that it is worth
it to pay a professional.
Do
you do residential installations ?
Yes, we do a very limited amount of residential work, the
starting price is $3500.00 per project.
What is the minimum, price for a
HOA entrance?
Our
minimum is $2,000.00
What is the minimum price for a commercial
property?
Commercial
properties have many variables. Minimum pricing can be determined
after a full site inspection of the property is completed.

Does Designer Events HLS handle all electrical connections
needed to energize a project?
Most HOA's and commercial properties have their own electricians
and electrical companies who maintain and tend to their electrical
needs. We will work closely with your electrician on all power
needs. If your property does not have an electrician or you
do not want to use yours we can furnish a fully licensed electrician
at an additional cost.
How long does holiday lighting last
and can we use it from year to year?
Lighting strands are rated to last 90 days. Lights are cut
down and thrown away after 1 season, after that they start
to fail, after being stretched around trees, walls etc, in
combination with the weather they are not worth saving. It
will cost more for you to have us take them down and save
them than put up new ones every year!
Do you offer other colors besides
white lights?
Yes we do. White lights are more common because they satisfy
a wider range of holiday traditions, and they are also the
brightest.
Are there limitations on what you
can do regarding a lighting application?
We have no limitations. We can create any application or lighting
design to fit your property. The only limit will be based
on the amount of power you have available.
When should we start planning our
holiday lighting?
Whether you are a Commercial Property or HOA, as early as
possible is always best. We start our calendar in February,
and since there is a very limited time frame to install the
